Auxiliary Duties and Projects

Traffic Control - Ensures the safety of motorists as they pass or wait in cases of road blockage due to emergency operations.

Emergency Evacuation - Responsible for the effective evacuation of Crystal Park in case of emergency.

Education - Provides fire prevention and educational materials at Crystal Park and Manitou Springs events

Fundraising and Donations - Initiates sales of department related items, such as t-shirts, calendars, and grocery bags. Coordinates special fundraising events such as Whole Foods Community Day.

Grants - prepares grant applications and manages required reports

Website - designs, administers and updates CPVFD and Metro website

Special Events - Plans and coordinates various volunteer events
